“Cancellation” means a user-initiated request to stop or discontinue access to a purchased study package, mock test package, or subscription on the MahaExam platform.
Cancellation may or may not lead to a monetary refund; refunds are governed strictly by the MahaExam Refund Policy in force at the time of purchase.
2. Cancellation Window and Eligibility
Users may request cancellation of any package within 24 hours of payment, subject to the utilization conditions defined in the Refund Policy.
After 24 hours from payment, cancellations will only terminate future access; no refunds or credits will be provided unless expressly allowed under the Refund Policy or mandated by applicable law.
3. Utilization and Non‑Cancellable Cases
If any part of the package has been utilized (including but not limited to: logging into paid content, attempting any mock test, accessing restricted study material, using live/proctored sessions, or downloading paid resources), the user may still request cancellation, but refund eligibility will follow the “Utilized” rules in the Refund Policy.
For time‑bound or attempt‑limited mock tests, once an attempt is started, cancellations will not reverse that attempt or restore consumed attempts, even if access is later terminated.
4. How to Request Cancellation
Users must raise a cancellation request by sending an email from their registered email ID to contact@eduval.in with order ID, payment reference, registered mobile number, and a brief reason for cancellation.
MahaExam may seek additional information or verification (such as usage logs or access records) to process the request and confirm the correct status of utilization and entitlements.
5. Effect of Cancellation on Access
Once a cancellation is approved, all future access to the cancelled package, including scheduled mock tests, practice sessions, doubt‑clearing sessions, or bonus materials tied to that package, will be terminated from the effective date of cancellation.
Users are responsible for downloading any permissible receipts or records prior to cancellation, as historical access to certain dashboards or reports may be limited or removed after access is revoked.
6. No‑Show and Inactivity
Failure to log in, attend a live session, or attempt a mock test (i.e., “no‑show” or inactivity) does not automatically qualify as a cancellation and does not create any additional refund rights beyond those specified in the Refund Policy.
Users are encouraged to review package details, validity periods, and schedules before purchase to avoid last‑minute cancellations or unused packages.
7. Provider‑Initiated Cancellation
MahaExam reserves the right to cancel or suspend a user’s access to any package in cases of suspected misuse, academic dishonesty, violation of exam integrity (including cheating or account sharing), or breach of the Terms of Use.
In the case of provider‑initiated cancellation due to operational reasons (such as permanent discontinuation of a specific package by MahaExam), users may be offered an alternative package or a refund/credit as per the Refund Policy and applicable law
8. Compliance with Law and Consumer Protection
Where required by applicable Indian consumer protection laws and e‑commerce rules, cancellations and refunds will be processed in compliance with those legal requirements, including obligations relating to deficiency in services or misrepresentation.
Any disputes relating to cancellation or refund will be handled under the dispute resolution mechanism and jurisdiction specified in the Terms and Conditions of MahaExam.
